The leather is sturdy and fully dyed; this means that the color is all over the thickness of the leather. A little dirt can be easily removed with a damp cloth. At first, it can sometimes feel a little stiff, but that disappears after a few days.

The design of this shoe reminds us of our childhood. But the design is even older, dating back to 1904. In the comic strip Buster Brown, how could it be otherwise, “Mary-Jane” wore this shoe.
